Can you work with my practice if you are in California and I am in Honolulu?
Yes. I work remotely with every client I have, in all fifty states. We share documents through a secure portal, talk on scheduled calls, and email in between. Nothing about keeping your books requires me to be in the same building or the same time zone.
How does the time difference work?
It usually works in your favor. Hawaii is two hours behind me most of the year and three hours behind in the winter, so I am already at my desk while you are getting your day started. If you send something over after your last session, it is generally handled by the time you open your laptop the next morning. For calls, we pick a time that fits between your clients.

My books have not been touched in a year. Can you still help?
Yes, and you would not be the first. If the books were never done, that is catch-up work. If they were done but the numbers cannot be trusted, that is clean-up work. Either way, I look at what exists, quote the project, and bring you current. There is no lecture attached to any of it.
Do you prepare tax returns or handle insurance billing?
No to both. I keep your books accurate and tax-ready so your tax preparer has clean numbers to work from, and I stay out of claims, coding, and credentialing entirely. If your payroll system is already up and running, I can process payroll for you each pay period.
