Each month, transactions are categorized, bank and credit card accounts are reconciled, and a profit and loss and balance sheet arrive with a short note about anything worth a second look. If something doesn't make sense, ask, plain-language explanations are part of the service. The books stay tax-ready all year, so your preparer starts tax season with everything already in hand.
How the service is priced
The rate depends on the number of accounts, the volume of transactions, and whether payroll or contract clinicians are involved. A solo therapist with one checking account is priced lower than a group practice with several accounts. Either way the monthly rate is fixed.
