This is the easiest time to start. Getting QuickBooks set up correctly in your first year saves you from paying someone to untangle it in your third. A lot of Boise practices reach out a few months in, right when the caseload starts filling up.
My books have not been touched since I opened. Where do we start?
We start with catch-up work. I gather your statements, record and reconcile month by month, and bring everything current. There is no lecture. Falling behind is the most ordinary thing in the world when you are seeing clients all day.
What do you not handle?
I do not prepare tax returns. I keep your books tax-ready so your tax preparer has clean records to work from. I also do not do insurance billing, claims, credentialing, or coding. And I run payroll for practices whose payroll system is already up and running. Building a new payroll system is outside what I do.
