Yes. All of my clients work with me remotely and a good number of them are in the Bay Area. We talk by phone or video, you share statements and access through secure file sharing, and your reports come to you every month. We're in the same state and the same time zone, so scheduling a call is easy.
What does monthly bookkeeping cost?
Full-service monthly bookkeeping starts at $165 a month. Your price depends on how many accounts you have and how much activity runs through them. I quote a flat monthly rate after I look at your books so nothing changes on you later.
Do you prepare tax returns?
No. I keep your books current, accurate, and organized so your tax preparer has what they need without chasing you for it. If your preparer wants something specific from me, I'm glad to work with them directly.
Do you handle insurance billing or claims?
No. I don't do billing, claims, credentialing, or coding. My work is reconciling the money that actually lands in your bank account against your practice records so you can see what you were paid and when. Many of my clients have a biller or a billing service, and I work alongside them.
My books haven't been touched in over a year. Is that a problem?
It isn't. Falling behind is the most common reason people reach out to me, and it usually has more to do with a full caseload than anything else. I record and reconcile period by period until you're current, then we keep it that way with monthly service.
