What does monthly bookkeeping cost?
Full-service monthly bookkeeping starts at $165 a month. Your rate depends on how many accounts and transactions your practice has. I give you a real number after we talk about how the practice runs.
My books have not been touched in over a year. Is that a problem?
No, and that is how most practice owners find me. If the books were never done, we do catch-up work month by month until you are current. If they were done but the numbers stopped making sense, we do clean-up. Then monthly service keeps you from ending up back here.
Can you run payroll for my group practice?
I can, as long as your payroll system is already set up and running. I process each pay period so your clinicians and staff are paid on time. Setting up a brand new payroll system is not something I do. I also prepare 1099s at year end for the associates and contractors you pay.
Do you prepare tax returns or handle insurance billing?
Neither one. I keep your books tax-ready and work with whoever prepares your return so the handoff is simple. Insurance billing, claims, credentialing, and coding stay with your biller or your staff. My side of it is the bookkeeping.
